Oooo, that has such a welcoming feel to it. I love the mature trees. They remind me of that really gargantuan tree in Santa Barbara. . . I wonder if they are the same kind. What's nice is that the sidewalk is not all buckled from the roots! I love the shot.

This is a very calming image. The sidewalk must have been repaired recently, as those large roots on the left look like they would lift up the sidewalk. Nice choice for the theme.

What a pleasant, snow-free scene

Beautiful composition, I liked a lot the idea of it, the man there, the tree detail and the colour.Looks like a movie scenery!

That is a beautiful shot Tash! I love those trees. It sort of reminds me of some sidewalks around here.

I'm enjoying what you all are coming up with. This one is lovely, made extra charming by man and dog.

Tash, I don't know where to start. This is visually a full course meal. There is so much to devour here visually. Excellent entry for today's theme.

Nice combination of the memes, Tash!

Splendid trees but are these lower branches not hindering the pedestrians?

Ooh, so nice. Love the angle of the branches that echo into the distance.
