What counts as a heatwave at this time of year chez vous?

Oh, how I miss these poppies! Are you getting the heat along the coast as well?

Tash, the Madonna Street of the movie is in Rome, not in Livorno. I used the poster just for fun, but I'm sure that you'll like the movie, if you can find it: it's a gem!

Because of your picture, while walking I most particularly noticed the poppies this morning. One of the reasons I so like your blog -- I notice more stuff.

Brilliant blossoms!

I'll be honest, your poppies may be enjoying the heat wave but I'm not. They are soooo pretty. That particular kind of poppy was a favorite of mine, along with pansies, when I was a kid.

Beautiful colours! Rumor has it that we get to worship the sun up here in BC for a few days this week. It's been a bit rainy and cloudy so far this spring so I am anxious for some of the warm stuff! - Margy

Wowee! Those colours are scorching. We only get red here too, bit the range of colours here is fabulous.
