New York City Landmarks by a Teen Traveler

Mosaic in Strawberry Fields (memorial to John Lennon in Central Park) - it snowed there last Thrusday! From Central Park
THE bull on Wall Street
Lady Liberty with the morning sun
Cell phone photographs by my son, I.C.B., taken during the spring break trip to Washington DC and New York City with 60 of his intermediate school classmates. They really packed in a lot in 6 days. They were dropped off by the tour bus on 5th Avenue for an hour and told to go check-out the restrooms in the Trump Building.

Dear Tash!
His mobile phone is good! Great pictures better than my camera here!!!!
I bet it was a "fantastic" trip for him!
Wonderful time with friends indeed!

By the way, in our "breakfast in America" blog I put just in the first place, a picture from this memorial in Central Park that I took in 2007.But in that time the place was full of flowers and some "fruits" (??)...but very nice indeed!
So, the first picture here reminds me that day.
I want to come back to CALI and NY...please please please...hey...my VISA is is still valid! Who knows! :-))

I think the last one is wonderful. (Restrooms -- kids. Did they take pictures inside?)

All very nicely done! Great pictures. Today on my blog I feature a photo of my son on his birthday.

At least he was taking photographs with the cell phone instead of yakking on it !ha Now he has photographs that he'll look back on with fond memories of his trip.

Looks like he's going to need a blog of his own soon - he obviously has an eye for a great shot. All the more impressive on a mobile phone and on a school trip!

Palos Verdes is gentrifying.

Being that your son is a resident of Palos Verdes, he must have taken great pleasure in leaving HIS mark on "the Donald"

The last photo is quite striking.

These are lovely, Tash. I am always surprised at the quality of some cell phone photos. My phone takes lousy shots, but then, I always have my camera with me, or almost. I'll be in the Big Apple end of June, so will probably post some photos.

Nice photos! He has his mother's eye. When I was growing up I was in junior high, my son was in middle-school, his youth group were mid-highs and now I hear there's something called intermediate high. It's like all the different machines at the check-out line. Why can't they just come up with one name/model. It's just too much information!

Ooooh, he got to New York too? Lucky guy. I will have to wait for another trip for that one...
