Variety (is the spice of life)...

BROAD CONTEMPORARY ART MUSEUM -- LACMA -- 15 January 2012
Canon EOS 50D, f/4, 1/30 sec., ISO-800, 18 mm focal length
...not much variety, only a variation on the night theme with this one. The photo came out pretty good for a hand-held shot.

To provide a little clarity on the title -- it comes from the faint "Variety" sign (top-left).

What a great angle on this unique looking multi tiered building, just perfect for a 'contemporary art museum'. Nice work Tash and yes I see the sign way up there!

It came out VERY well for a handheld shot. I visited the Broad last August. Liked some of it, neutral on much, disliked some. I guess I am not entirely sold on contemporary art.

This looks like a pretty amazing building. Jack is right about contemporary art, but I cannot resist it. Always so interesting as is your photo!

Outstanding photo for a handheld shot at night. We like LACMA and are members, although we get over there usually only once a year. LACMA's Tim Burton exhibition last summer was excellent.

Nice reds and lighting. And no shake! Looks almost like they're contemplating taking a dive.

Mr V and UI have not been inside here yet. Does it come with a single ticket purchase or an added fee? I see the variety - now you need to go and gets some night shots of the dying mastodons
