'V' is for Verified and in a VW (abc Wednesday)
Today was the last milestone for the year for our son - passing his driver's lisence test...which he did. So no more "Drivers Wanted" for our VW Karmann Ghia.
Thank you all for the congratulations to him and the encouraging comments.
oh my! I recognize that steering wheel. I had a 68 automatic Bug (a system they discontinued after two years; that bad). But I didn't have wood paneling. That is one sweet vehicle. Congratulations!
Congratulations to your son! I don't understand the 'Drivers Wanted' - does that mean you advertise for people to act as qualified driver to accompany a learner? And do people actually advertise? I've never heard of that happening here.
Oh yeah...and congratulations to your son!!! I remember going to get my license, on my 16th birthday!!! It is a liberating feeling for both son and parents!!!

Looks like a classic car in action.
Nice use of motion blurr
May he always drive mindfully, may he always be safe. Congratulations!
Hey, there are 16 days remaining. Time enough for him to translate the Iliad into Icelandic and find a cure for the common cold.
Wow. What a busy time. I am impressed. Congratulations to him.
Are they still making the Ghia or is he now the proud owner of a cool vintage car?
Vintage, Oakland. And "V" is for vintage and velocity!
Nice car for you son. Good for him. - Margy
Wait....he flies, but didn't yet drive? That's quite commendable!
