Book Sale Today - Malaga Cove Library
I received an early Christmas present from my friend TJ today - a Kindle e-book reader which works just beautifully. But this doesn't mean that I won't be going to the monthly library book sales.
That's a nice gift...... I just saw a new book today from one of my favorite fiction authors, but it was $24.99 hardback.... I'm going to check Amazon books and see if I can get it cheaper!
Ah, yes, I have been there. I downloaded and read a book on my iPad a while ago, just to see if I would like it. I do see some of the benefits, but I still love paper. I read a lot and am not ready to abandon paper books.
P.S. I too have a Kindle, since it's easy for me to read bestsellers that way; not available right away here and expensive when they are. But I still love the smell of paper!

This is such a pretty walkway to a library! I'm a sucker for library book sales, too, and somehow need to find more room on my shelves.
can you pick me up a copy of "every building on the sunset strip" while your there?

Rich warm sepia tones give this photo a special feel, much like curling up with a book and blanket on a cold rainy day.

Wayne got me a Kindle as an early Christmas present. I really love it. The battery lasts a very long time and there a lots of books available. - Margy
Next to Garage Sale, this type of sign pulls me in like a hairpin to a magnet.

Just think, you can double the quantity of books you can buy!
