Theme Day: Open Air Market

Kettle Corn booth is my favorite stop at the PV Farmer's market held every Sunday morning at the Peninsula Center.
And from this summer's trip, an olive-oil seller at the open air market in Rovinj, Croatia.

Two very different and yet similar scenes. Markets, anywhere in the world, are wonderful as you show so well.

Hard to beat fresh popped popcorn, can almost smell it now.
The photo of the olive oil vendor, is very interesting. I like the way the light gives the shop a cozy atmosphere and how some of the light shines through the bottles of pale yellow-green, olive oil.
Hum, now I can't make up my mind if I'd like a bowl of hot popcorn, or a loaf of fresh focaccia with a dish of seasoned olive oil to dip it in.

Kettle Corn is my favorite too. In fact I think Orville R. has a good kettle pop corn.

I use Virgin Olive oil from Trader Joes. I like the looks of those bottles.
