Looking Up at LAX (Skywatch and Weekend Reflection)

Earlier this week, I had a chance to catch the early morning sky at the Delta terminal of Los Angeles International Airport (which is approximately 15 miles from Palos Verdes) and get a "twofer" shot -- for Skywatch and for James' Weekend Reflections.
Wish you bright blue skies for your weekend.

That's a great find and terrific view of the sky! I'll have to look up next time I'm at an airport. Who knows what I may find!

Love your twofer. It reminds me of the Pantheon. No, really. I think Italy must be on my mind. Seems we both had airports on the brain this week.

This is the most un-airport ceiling I think I've ever seen. So elegant. Not a quality usually associated with airports, at least not in the UK. Although the new Heathrow Terminal 5 is meant to be reasonable - now that they've got it to work.

Really cool, love the contrasts, curves and lines and colours and reflections!

Sometimes I have to remind myself to look UP. I wonder what I've been missing! Hopefully not beautiful shots like this!

I guess LAX has been revamped several times since I lived in L.A. I remember driving along Sepulveda Boulevard and having the planes fly so close overhead.
