ABC Wednesday: "Y" is for ...

... yellow flowering trees in an suburban setting. I never noticed these trees before & now I see them along many streets and parking lots. I had no luck finding the name in my Guide to Trees.
See more interesting "Y" photos on Mrs. Nesbitts' ABC Wednesday.

Still beautiful even if nameless! Great shot. It's funny how much you start to notice once you do something like ABC isn't it? I noticed that too...

The yellow flowers are so tropical looking. Do they have an aroma?

I don't know what they are either, but they're lovely! I like the shape of the leaf, too.

It's called the Golden Medallion tree or Cassia Leptophylla. It's originally from Brazil. Very pretty trees.

All - so nice of you to stop by and take the time to leave comments.
PA - you're a wealth of knowledge! I'm so glad you knew the name.
