November Theme Day: Doorways ... on All Saint's Day

The Neighborhood Church (established 1939) at the old Haggerty Mansion, 415 Paseo Del Mar, Palos Verdes Estates. (Click on the name to read more about its history.) A very nice church member chatted with us and said that a lot of the Frost/Nixon movie was filmed here but that the camera angles make it hard to recoginze the church.

If these are the front doors then this must be one beautiful church. Fascinating to hear they filmed the movie there. I haven't seen it yet, now I'll have to.
I see that they have bird repellers above the transom, they're always hard to see with the naked eye. Photos are funny like that, always a surprise.

It's beautiful! By the way, I saw a news story on NBC about that oil tank at the refinery painted like a jack o lantern that you posted a picture of on Friday.

Lovely photo - beautiful doors. The lamp adds a focal point. I especially like the fanlike window inside.
Cheers.
