...of autumn color. (Crape Myrtle - Langerstroemia indica)

...and a bit more from a Sweetgum tree off of Silver Spur Dr.

Requires a bit of digging this year, doesn't it? I must really be high in the hills because mine has just started to bloom.

Fall in California! I remember! I do remember crunchy leaves at UCLA in Westwood.

Ah my crape myrtls is bare now. I'm looking down the road and when Thanksgiving is over what are we going to do with all our leaf and pumpkin photos? I've got a lot in the can. I might start changing my header every few days to get em all in. Love yours today girl!!

My Crepe Myrtle is turning color now. More towards yellow. I've seen some of the liquid Amber change here in the Highland. More in their golden state at the moment. Love fall

How lovely Tash! We are finally getting some fall color around here too, just in time for Thanksgiving. By the way, those blue paw prints reminded me of Blues Clues too and I'm still watching it with my grandson!

Lovley photo with the reds. The leaves and the old fashioned lamp is superb.
Enjoy your weekend.

Ah the crepe myrtle and the messy but spectacular sweetgum! Our trees are just skeletons now, resting after having put on the best show in years.

That read leaf is clearly a leader and not a follower! Very nice shots!
