Fighting the Commuter Blues

I drive 35 minutes each way to work. What do you do during your commute?

Well, aside from taking the occasional photo while stopped at a light (see my recent posts!)... When I am a passenger, I sometimes take shots like yours of the lights. I have a graffiti 'passenger' shot coming up tomorrow, I believe!

Wow, that first image is so cool!

Such a nice use of commute time.

Very creative! So, as best as I can determine It got really dark between Redondo Ave., Long Beach and WIlmington - which should only be about 10 minutes (without traffic). I guess that's definitely easier and quicker than fighting the 405 at rush hour. Good luck - I'm glad that I don't commute anymore. It takes me about 10 minutes to roll out of bed and be in the chapel for morning services!

Well, nT, I don't do THAT to get to work! I also don't do freeways.

But at least you gotta nice view while commuting.

Nice coincidence to be side by side. "dve sestre" My commute is 7 minutes unless I get stuck behind a school bus in which case it is then 10 minutes. I used to put on lipstick at the one light on my way to work, but I really don't wear much lipstick anymore. Wish I had a sun roof!

Off to Canada Sunday to visit my dad for a few days. I'll probably be posting a few "non-Sudbury" pictures even though it's against the rules. Don't tell.

I like the way you spend Traffic time!!!

I like both photos. Great use of your time and it proves that one should always have their camera close by. I take the train and sometimes take pictures, but it is usually too crowded to take pictures.

Wilmington? gods country

won't be commuting anywhere today but do plan to putt and clean around the house. Dirt, dust, crap and clutter. Can't stand it anymore.

Cool! Do you listen to books on tape too? You crazy multi-tasker, you. You're starting to list your settings? That's a great idea.

That's quite a streaming sunset. Did it bring gales or did they all continue on over here?

On the 3 days I walk 40 minutes to work I notice all the trees and birds and fellow walkers/bike riders until I hit the street part of the route, then I look in shop windows as I pass. And keep a look out for a good photo. On my 2 driving days I'm far too busy braking, changing gear, dodging eternal roadworks to even reach for the camera or take my eyes off the road.
