"Since the place is OPEN, who is going to let me in??"Poppy's Cafe on Purchase St. , the main business street in Rye, is where the locals like to eat. The name "Purchase" comes from the purchase of this land from a Mr. Harrison (who bought it from the native Americans) by the Members of the Society of Friends from Long Island in 1724.

Nice orange mosaic tiles. That shade isn't easy to come by and you pay a fortune for them when you do.
