I just wrote a long critque about nature and art and how you consistently marry the two so well.

Oh, and how posthumans will use your photos as a record of what a natural environment looks like... gone sister. It's gone. We are similarly cursed encommente.

What a fabulous photo...love those pylons striding away into the distance and the dried grass.

Such a lovely contrast to your photo from yesterday! I like the name, 'Pearblossom Highway.'

Downright Desolate, but I think that's why I like it. I second Marley's comment about Depth too...

You never answer my questions because you're awfully stuck up, but isn't there a pastoral little town off PBH called Valyermo, or something like that?

Patrizzi Intergarlictica said...

Tash, Tash, Tash, I can't quite express how much I love this photo. It's my favorite, ever, of all your shots. And that's saying something.

I love how this photo shows distance with the receding pole size, and the warm colors in the foreground making cool background colors seem farther away. Very peaceful looking.

Ditto to all!!! Love the depth of field and the perspective of the poles receding into the background...
I agree with Petrea...definitely one of your best!!!

The best thing is the gold color of the flowers playing off the blue sky. That really makes an emotional statement. Great job!
