My new friend is not a PV resident. Since our Saturdays are spent on the soaring field (Crystalaire Airport) in the desert near Palmdale, I have some time to explore that area. This little ranch is located near Valyermo, CA. The long-horn cows did not pay much attention to me, but this cutie came trotting to me right up to the fence. Next time, I will have a treat for both of them.

Love the shot of both of them together. One looks asleep but the other looks somewhat expectant of good things to come along, waiting patiently.
such cute little burros! I liked hearing about your son's soaring experience. wow.
burros, oh thank you! I'm in love. One day I'll get one. Our stable had three for awhile, and I loved everything about them -- their bray, their sweetness, their stubborness.
Aren't they cute?

They are just gorgeous. They look so friendly. Well DID you bring them anything to eat?!
Duh, I just read your last sentence. Sorry, Tash...
Cute donkeys :)
Awwwww, CUTE!
yep...cute little fellers!
Great pix.
So, did you finally feed them?
Remember: Food - don't leave home without it!
aren't they so cute??? there is something about a donkey that is endearing. we saw one the other day - my son and I - and he gave us a big classic Hee Haw! My son is still copying it. I look foward to more in your Donkey Series. ;)
Carrots, apples, let me think. Would they like celery? They're sweet. I love burros.
I'm over at Pasadena Adjacent drinking coffee and painting tiles
I see a big horn cow butt behind Burrito the burro. I knew a burro with that name. He hung out on the hillide below La Cantina (now Gino's) on the edge of Highland Park. Is that one of the buttes?
They're so beautiful! Obviously, they need carrots, or apples!
Loved the caption. Indeed they look cute :)
