A very fancy car show will take place today at the very fancy golf course. Our next door neighbor is a car buff and told me that PV is trying to match the elegance of the Pebble Beach event.

Personally, I think Minis are engineering marvels. This "chico" car was parked on Chico St in Malaga Cove neighborhood.

I LOVE Minis. Wish I had one although I'd feel safer in one if so many BIG trucks didn't drive at such high speeds.
I love the way they look like toy cars. Don't see to many of them in Los Angeles -- this is, after all, the land of the darned SUV -- but when I do, I always smile.

I test drove a standard shift Mini, and it was a lot of fun to drive.
They really are an iconic car. The new design hasn't taken anything awaty from this British classic. My sister just bought a Mini (in black and grey) and it is fun to drive!
Btw, loved the pink bouganvillia yesterday. Reminds me of holidays abroad :)
