At Malaga Cove Plaza - Among the Cars

Walking & talking

Dog walking in style

I realized that the impression PVDP must leave is that there are no people to be seen on the streets, at the mall, in the parks. Well, people are around, but most often I see them in their cars, driving to or from somewhere -- after all, this is LA County.

I like seeing your citizens. Hey , is that lady walking a bear??? And that walkway with the arches. I would love some time to photograph there.

Two great shots. How big is that brown dog?! It looks like a small horse!!

I like the shot of the woman and her two very different dogs. Nice to see she is also responsible with that bag in her hand!

That first shot with the columns is so gorgeous. I just love it.

I hear you about walking in LA! (Remember that old 80s song, "Nobody Walks in LA"?)

That does look like a bear cub. Love the couple walking away. What stories you could attach to those too.

Speaking of cars, are you going to photograph the PV Concours d'Elegance at the Donald Trump golfcourse on Sunday at 10 am? I hope you do, I might not get to go, and I really want to see those cars :-)

I love your site, you do a great job.

Oh I know there are people around, encased in metal on wheels.
On a trip to LA long ago, I innocently asked if there was anything within walking distance of my hotel and was met with derision. Huh, we don't walk in LA, they replied.

I had to smile at your remark about the lack of people. I will sometimes wait for people to clear out of my frame if I know I'm going to use the photo on my blog and I don't think the shot would be very flattering to them.

Like some of your other readers, I'm wondering about that enormous dog!
