2008 PV Concours d’Elegance

Sunday was a picture perfect day in PV. After a walk in the morning, I did make it to the car show at Trump's National. The cars were sparkling as much as the water.

Catalina Island is faintly visible on the horizon.

Tash, the cars are cool, but that second shot is just awesome! All those posh tents framed by ocean and those upfront blooms. Wish I was there!

A study in purple today. I adore the second shot. Just grand.

I'm back from Catalina. A month or so ago I went to the Trump golf course area and parked. In the past I had always headed to Abolone Cove, but on that particular day I got a late start and the AC gate was closed. Anyhow, I walked the trail heading towards Pedro. The parks hook up and it was a beautiful walk. Trump hired a descent designer to keep the effects of the golf course from being overly obtrusive. Not sure what to think about the faux waterfalls.

Oh les belles voitures ! Je n'en ai jamais vu comme cela ! Les petites tentes pointues au bord de la mer me donnent envie de partir en vacances

Those are wonderful. I love the second one,the way the flowers lean into the tents and point to the sea. Very beautiful. Thanks.

What a fun day! And, nice shots. I love the Mini shot in the previous post too. My aunt has one and I love going for drives in it when I visit her!
