Twilight & Crescent Moon - Sky Watch Friday
I looked out my window Thursday evening & knew this was a Sky Watch moment. I do need to figure out how to get the moon crisp in the photo -- it was just a perfect crescent.

Beautiful photo. I just love the colors. Great job.
I took an almost identical shot on Friday night. Haven't posted it, though, 'cos I've been posting way too many sunsets lately. :)
(For a crisp moon--it can be tricky. I don't know what kind of camera you have, but try a fast shutter speed [like 1/100 or 1/325 or so]... or, if you can't control the shutter speed, try 'Auto' with a flash. The moon is often overexposed in night shots 'cos it's pretty darn bright! So you've got to underexpose it a bit.)
