Those tall flowers are what I would call hollyhocks. I don't know other names. Great scenes. It looks like you had a good trip to France this summer.

Glad to see you posting again, even if it can't be daily. I loved your explanation of your visit to Venice. I am surprised that a tourist would tell a young person to get away and not listen to the tour guide. It would not bother me.
