Activity at Minarets Lookout - Eastern Sierra Nevada

Two weekends ago, at Mammoth Lakes in the Eastern Sierra Nevada mountains. I liked seeing the various interests of the group of visitors - looking at the mountain peaks, reading signs, and tapping rocks.

I've been there. A decade ago I went with my mother on a bus with a group of seniors from Arcadia. No hiking but lots of "stop, park and look" moments

You were probably on one of those peaks I saw from Bishop, but actually you weren't there then! Beautiful place, isn't it?

Such a different kind of forest climate from our rainforests. I love the flowers. You sure had a nice trip. - Margy
