Passers-by with Tom Tower - Oxford, UK

After Evensong at Christ Church Cathedral (18 October 2010)
Thought I'd share a few more photos from last October's trip to UK. Here I was aiming for the nicely framed evening shot of Tom Tower, and got a red shoe/diamond jester sock as a special bonus.

That is just stunning, Tash. The perfect frame, and you gotta love the red shoe.

Interesting, very pretty and elegant.
Like the composition and "the framing" too.
- HAPPY EASTER!

Beautifully framed, Tash. And university fashion is always worth a photo.

The framed shot is magnificent and the red shoe with its black and white harlequin patterned socks, well that was just one of those fortuitous moments.

Love this shot — what a sky!
And the sock brings just the right touch of unpredictability. Very nice!

Nice photo, Tash. I like the ghosts you almost caught.

I was at Oxford in 2010, too. They have weeklong summer programs in July and early August. Classes in the morning and touring in the afternoon, living in the student houses. I'm thinking about doing it next year.
