Peninsula Seniors Sponsored: Coffeee & Cars

Lots of classic beauties and lots of admirers from the January event.
At Peninsula Center, on the first Saturday of the month from 7:30-9 am.

Tash, I guess my first car would be considered a "Classic" 1951 Steudebaker...pink and white!!! Oh what a sight..and did we have fun in it. Each girl chipped in a quarter, and we had gas to run around everywhere!!! Where did those days go??

Wow, another Aquacar. Last fall we saw this exact model being tested in Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis.

The Mercedes is beyond cool. The aqua one looks like it should float. Then I read the comments, and apparently it does! Those mini fins are a hoot. What is it about old cars that makes us ooh and aah? For me, THE car is a '57 Chevy. Aqua and white. Sigh.

Uh oh, I think my comment didn't take. Just wanted to say that old cars are so appealing. My favorite is a '57 Chevy. But I'll take that Mercedes if I have to.

Very nice! Are those guys the original owners of those cars? It must be pretty awesome to own those vintages for years, and to keep them in such a presentable state. They're lovely stuff!
