Seattle from Above - Sky Watch Friday

View from a sight seeing flight with Kenmore Air Beaver floatplane. It's a very unusual experience to take-off and land on water - made me wonder if I'm on a boat or a plane.
Kenmore Air has an interesting history and a very successful operation flying in the less accessible parts of the Pacific Northwest. http://www.kenmoreair.com/

You are flying low - at the level of the "needle" (incidentally - where I have enjoyed the view).

You know the very best thing is the reflections on the underside of the wing

Man, I would kill to go up in a plane and take photos... I took photos from a glider in Germany years ago and have always thought of the possibilities...

Welcome to my city! You really were watching the sky! I may have been watching you, since I was at the top of the Space Needle Monday with my grandchildren.

We have lots of Beavers on floats up here in Coastal BC. I really loved your rainbow picture as well. When I was little we lived in Southern California. On Fridays my parents would take me along with them out to dinner. One of our spots was the Red Onion Restaurant in Palos Verdes. That was a long time ago, but I remember it well.

My pictures are of a mackerel sky before the storm. I invite you to come see. - Margy- Margy
