I've wanted to take a photo of the Red Onion restaurant which opened its PV location in 1963 for Margy of http://powellriverbooks.blogspot.com/ who used to eat here with her parents when she was little. I took some photos over the past few weeks but did not think them very interesting. Last evening, I got the real photo opportunity.

Hi Tash - Thanks for taking the time to get a picture of the Red Onion for me. It still looks pretty good, maybe some things don't have to change over the years. I also enjoyed your panorama picture in the following post. It looks like the hills still have some natural sections to enjoy as well. We are heading south next month so maybe I can catch up on some old haunts. -- Margy

Thank you for your kind thoughts and condolences on my blog today. The funeral was today, and I felt as if I were in a dream, and that it wasn't really happening. It's hard to wake up in the morning all alone, though of course I have my children, one of whom lives here, the other in the US, but it's not the same.
He left us with a huge hole in our hearts that we'll try to fill with memories of all the good times we had together.
That is quite a coincidence, Tash! We both have chosen old cars to post on the same day! That's nice! :-)
