Did you say it was a "Groundhog Day"?
"Here is to Groundhog Horse Day!"
"That feels most excellent!"
"... yes, yes, just there!"
"Whaaaat???? Well, you weren't jumping in to scratch my back!"
OK, enough horsing around.
Groundhog Day is also the birthday of Bibi (Yankee in Belgrade). Please join me in sending happy birthday wishes her way.
Hey, thanks for the link! I didn't visit yesterday much; too busy with celebration, ha, ha.
Unfortunately I saw my shadow yesterday and so did Punxsutawney Phil so I guess we'll have six more weeks of winter....it snowed all last night here and is still coming down full-force, if that's any indication!
Horses love to roll like that. My mare sure did. I miss not having a horse to ride. These days a quad has to take its place. But it just can nuzzle me in the same way. - Margy
I read about this day in many blogs, but I think here they don't have this tradition. Great captures dear Tash, the beautiful horse is enjoying his day! And thanks for all your wonderful comments, oh girl...you had lots of work to write, please don't worry about it next time okay!I'm so happy that you like my pictures and your words is always lights of energy to my heart. Thank you so much! big hugs Léia

I don't think the horse knew you were observing. It was supposed to be a private revel.
A chocolate sorrel with flaxen main and tail. Ever since my mid-life crisis "I want a pony" faze I've become an expert on naming horse colors
:-))

this post got a whinny out of me. happy belated birthday, bibi.
Very funny! I am absolutely ignorant about horses, but I would expect something like this only from a dog!
