Getty Gets Gorgeous
From the visit a couple of weeks ago to the Getty Center with Virginia,Judy and Karin.
It amazes me that with bouganvilla and clever design, they can create something beautiful out of rebar.
Julie and I enjoy a day at the Getty each summer when we stay for a time in Newport Beach. It is a amazing that a place so large and so modern has such charm, due in part to the landscaping below the museum.
This past August the garden just below your scene today was closed for renovation.
The rebar armature. My favorite feature of the garden. Real funny video out there where Irwin has a stand off with Meirs over the location (being down from the building). He doesn't explain - defend- total silence. Stares at Meirs with a Chesser cat smile.

This is a spectacular arrangement, love the idea and the bright color...
I love how you captured the bougies, because I didn't realize the structure and leaves looked like vases with flowers. You obviously did.
Nice variety of images from my former stomping (& photographing) grounds in Southern California. Miss the bougenvilla up here in Oregon.
You aren't kidding, this is gorgeous! Glad Karin pointed out the second photo was bougainvilleas - I couldn't tell, but the 'vases' were amazing.
