A photo a day of Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills & Palos Verdes Estates, located on the hills of PV peninsula at the southwestern tip of Los Angeles county
Mom is doing much better (even though she can't stand or walk yet), so we are all going up to Powell River for a vacation for the month of July. This will be the longest continuous time I'll be home since September. Even though I have to stay in town with her about two thirds of the time, it will be wonderful! - Margy
Beautiful lake with its giant trees, a perfect view for summer. What are my plans? Taking my husband on a business trip to SF and spending some extra time in Napa with a ride over to Bodega Bay.

What a lovely image.
Don and I are going to Las Vegas for a couple of nights and see the production of The Lion King. Celebrating 50 years of Marriage on June 24th.
Beautiful compositio and great light!
Essence of summer.
As for us - more of the damp Scottish summer, including a few nights on the Isle of Skye.
I retired last year, so every day is vacation!

a week around the Italian lakes :)
Uh...anyone up for helping us pack up and moving??? Our summer vacation isn't until October...then it's off to the Galapagos Islands!!
PS...did I mention that if you help us move you can visit this lake...maybe even this very spot???!!!
Wonderful photo. I love the way the vast lake and huge pine dwarfs the little fisherperson in the picture.
