A photo a day of Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills & Palos Verdes Estates, located on the hills of PV peninsula at the southwestern tip of Los Angeles county
Aerial view of Palos Verdes High School (designed by Richard Neutra), photographed in May 2009 Photo of PVHS from 1967 yearbook, curtesy of the Palos Verdes Library - Local History Room.
oh wow I attended PVHS in 1963-4 then moved to RHHS which was being built kitty corner from the peninsula center...it was a tediously long busride over to PV my brother graduated there in 62 when it was quite new..he had to go to Narbonne before PVHS was built....good pics....yes houses on the brink of sliding into the sea.....

Oh, gee, you really know how to push my nostalgia button. I graduated in '65 from Westchester...
Those houses look perilously close to the edge. How did you get this image, Tash?
Is PV on erosional shoreline? Those buildings look mighty close to the edge.
That first shot is making me a little dizzy!
interesting how the two lots to the left appear mapped out for development that didn't happen (or did it?)
Neutra? I had no idea...very cool
Was your driving the plane?!!
Not much change in the high school itself But more around!!
The 1st photo was taken from a small plane - last year's Mother's Day flight with my student pilot son and his instructor.
Excellent choice for the meme, Tash!
