The Traffic Jam That Wasn't
Freeways were clear during the 405 closure weekend...on Monday it'll be back to this ... (on PV Drive North heading to the 110 freeway).
I was on the Santa Monica yesterday. a parking lot. doesn't it make sooooo much sense that we DIDN'T create a Metro route to get us from the train station to SM? Wonder what agendas were behind that oversight

So glad the closure was so successsful.... we were out of town, like many others.
Seeing 405 empty must have been something. Have the local papers and TV showed shots during the shutdown?

I knew "Carmageddon" was going to bomb!!!
This conjures up memories of long commutes!!! Today's commute to anywhere in town is about 5 minutes!!!
My girlfriend used to say..."The Devil lives on the 405!"
