Invitation or Prohibition?

Do signs like this warn people away or give them ideas?
We walked along Portuguese Point which is thankfully the Abalone Cove Ecological Preserve. The view is of Inspiration Pt and the horseshoe shaped Protuguese Cove.
The surveyer's mark from 1936 is at the South-East corner of Portuguese Point.

Right! I can skinny dip and run around in the raw as long as I don't sunbathe. Thanks, PV.

Why does nude sound so much more lacivious than naked? (I'll be at the Huntington tomorrow and come back with three good reasons why should visit now.

I wouldn't go nude sunbathing with all that cacti there. ouch.
and I wonder why the "nude" sign doesn't have a Spanish companion.
the view is too beautiful to be distracted by dangly bits anyway.

If memory recalls, not a lot of room to sunbathe. Seems I remember a long drop.

Everybody asked or commented on what I had to say! No equivalent in Spanish, and sure, frolic nude in the surf, just don't lie around! How about just topless sunbathing...?

I'm thinking people will get an idea. ;) I wonder how many bathingsuit anachists are out there...
